Goals

The main objective of the Degree in Chemistry is to develop the skills necessary to perform qualified and versatile job on chemical activity in different areas, from scientific research to industrial and environmental applications.

The degree offers a fundamental and structuring training in various areas of chemistry and complements it with the tools necessary for an understanding of basic concepts in other scientific areas.

The acquisition of knowledge in strategic areas such as nanoscience, biochemistry, biology, physics, etc. (Minor in another science area) may contribute to foster scientific innovation and development of technological applications and devices with a strong impact on industry and society.

Although providing own competences, this 1st cycle is part of a global formation of 300 ECTS (two cycles, five years).
