The IEEE Portugal section distinguished a master’s thesis in Electrical and Computer Engineering authored by a Técnico Alumna.
Técnico Alumna wins IEEE Portugal Award
The Técnico student Carolina Pignatelli was one of the winners of the Outstanding MSc Thesis Award 2022, delivered by the IEEE Portugal section. The award winners were announced at the end of November, during the “Engineering Day“.
The award-winning work – “Design of a Planar Solid-State Transformer for DC Grids” – was developed under the project “SmarTrafo – Smart Transformer for Sustainable Grids”, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT).
