Biology

The PhD in Biology covers all scientific areas within Biology field. It aims to train professionals with a strong scientific atitude and a full domain of the methodologies allocated to its specialization area.

Due to the broader scope of the Biology PhD, the first year is constituted by several teaching units which will help the student to acquire the necessary skills to be able to undertake his/her PhD in the chosen area.

The evolution of the student's performance is evaluated by a panel twice during the first year, (end of first and second semester) and at the end of the second and third year.
