ULisboa has established a partnership with the National Centre for Scientific Research within the scope of the Science and Technology Development Project of the Angolan Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, which ensures a set of 33 doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships, in strategic areas of Agricultural Sciences, Engineering and Technology Sciences and Medical and Health Sciences.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation is the executing agency of the Science and Technology Development Project, 90% funded by the African Development Bank and 10% by the Government of Angola. The Project has a national scope and aims to contribute to the diversification of the economy through scientific and technological innovation.
