Inter-University PhD Program in Psychology, specialization area of Clinical Psychology: thematic area of Family Psychology and Family Intervention
The PhD in Psychology in the specialty of Clinical Psychology — Thematic Area: Family Psychology and Family Intervention is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra and the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon and aims to promote understanding systematic and critical knowledge and theoretical and clinical skills in the area of psychology and family intervention, and contribute to the development of the design and implementation of quality scientific research, internationally recognized.
The PhD in Psychology in the specialty of Clinical Psychology — Thematic area: Family Psychology and Family Intervention is a facilitating factor for insertion and/or professional growth in the Academic and Research area, namely Universities and Research Centers, as well as development in professional areas within the scope of Family Psychology and Family Intervention, enhancing the articulation between intervention and research.

Can apply, to the studies' program that leads to a doctoral degree, the following people:
a) Holders of a masters' degree or a legal equivalent in Psychology;
b) Exceptionally, holders of a degree or a legal equivalent in Psychology, with an academic or scientific curriculum especially relevant and that has been acknowledged by the Scientific and Coordinating Committee as capable of carrying out this cycle of studies.
c) Exceptionally, a degree or a master's degree or a legal equivalent in other fields, holders of an academic or scientific curriculum especially relevant and that has been acknowledged by the Scientific and Coordinating Committee as capable of carrying out this cycle of studies.
