Goals

The main objective of this program is the formation and education of highly qualified professionals prepared to carry out research and development in different areas of engineering and physical technologies, with a specific ability for solving engineering problems which require a strong and fundamental background in physics, through research and development in applied science projects, including the creation and implementation of instrumentation or new and advances technologies, either in academic or entrepreneurial contexts.

The program also aims to develop a professional and qualified behavior by focusing on valid approaches to collect data, to research and validate, to disseminate knowledge either in specialized fora or towards the society in general, as well as the awareness of the importance of promoting the economical value of technology and knowledge.
