Public Administration
Stimulate learning and scientific research in an open, cosmopolitan and focused environment, stimulating autonomy for decision making and intervention in institutions;
Consolidate scientific knowledge in Administration Science and Public Policies, with particular focus on the health sector;
Provide advanced training of excellence oriented to the acquisition of knowledge that enhances effectiveness and efficiency in public action;
Develop research in Administration and Public Policy, through the insertion of doctoral students in research projects, namely at the Center for Administration and Public Policy, as well as in research networks with similar institutions;
Encourage the publication and participation in national and international events;
Give continuity to the courses of I and II Cycles in Public Administration of ISCSP (Licenciatura Degree in Public Administration, Licenciatura Degree in Public Administration and Territorial Policies, MEstrado Degree in Public Administration and Mestrado Degree in Management and Public Policy)".
Access and ingress
For academic degree holders:
a) Affinity with the study area;
b) Higher average on the possessed degree;
c) Curricular analysis, according with the record nº 360 of the Scientific Council.
For non-holders:
For these cases, the criteria approved by the Scientific Council on its extraordinary meeting of November 4th 2010 are followed, according with the record nº 360 of the Scientific Council.
