Goals

This Licenciatura degree has as main objectives to give a training of multidisciplinary matrix that can be useful: the management of projects of cultural activities and local development; the analysis of cultural relations; the planning and management of cooperation projects; the definition of cultural policies in national and international organizations; the study and management of heritage and its enhancement; scientific research. This degree also aims to equip students with solid knowledge in Anthropology, stimulating critical thinking about phenomena produced by the dynamics of contemporary culture and society and also to develop skills for planning socio-cultural policies.

Career prospects

Government and other entities related to cooperation with Portuguese native-speaking African countries and others; Entities engaged to regional development and territorial planning activities; museums; natural parks as part of ecotourism projects; local and regional authorities; governmental and non-governmental organizations; investigation.
