Arts and Humanities
The course of Arts and Humanities allows the possibility of frequency of disciplines offered in single-discipline courses, combining the main scientific areas of the School (Language, Communication, Philosophy, History, Linguistics, Literature, Archaeology, Arts, Culture) and conferring a solid background on the big issues of the arts and humanities. Contact with various materials allows greater ability to deal with complex issues and a greater competence for entry into the labor market. The general humanistic education is essential to pursuit studies and appealing to employers. Is part of the historical role of liberal education for a humanistic and scientific training enshrined in the FL Statute, in relationship with post-graduate courses and with research.
This course offers a complete and varied training that responds very flexibly to a rapidly changing job market, where professions constantly appear and disappear and where the ability to have ideas and think outside the box is stimulated. Today our students work in activities as diverse as document processing, heritage management, art markets, telecommunications, advertising and media, education or research.
Many of the Arts and Humanities graduates continue to study. The degree gives access to all 2nd and 3rd cycle courses at the Faculty of Arts, Masters in Teaching and most Master's and Doctoral courses in Humanities and Social Sciences.
