This degree aims at educating students to become professionals who are able to perform evaluation, advisory and managing tasks, in economic affairs, for different types of organizations in the world of economics, finance and business.
In addition to basic education in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, this degree provides consistent training in associated areas – still essential to economists – such as Management, Mathematics, History, Sociology and Law.
Students are also encouraged to develop research projects and work in teams, getting them closer to their future professional lives.
ISEG graduates leave university prepared to cope with the demands of the national and international job market. This is confirmed by the results of the survey that is regularly carried out with recent ISEG graduates, which indicate a rapid and effective integration into working life, as about 35% of students are offered a job before they graduate, with a 90% level of employment 6 months after graduating.
