Engineering Physics
The degree in Engineering Physics aims to ensure solid knowledge in the fundamental areas of a formation in Engineering Physics, namely, Physics, Mathematics and Electronics and Instrumentation, with the appropriate level to a 1st cycle of studies. It also offers basic training in Chemistry, Economics and Management, Programming and Computing, in addition to curricular courses in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Personal Development. The inclusion of a Traineeship in the last semester allows students to have first contact with development and innovation in a business environment or at academy research centres, as well as to promote mobility at the international level (eg. Erasmus programme).
In general, it is intended to provide a comprehensive and high quality training that stimulates a curious, critical, enterprising spirit and motivates the pursuit of studies for a 2nd cycle in Engineering Physics or related areas, not forgetting the possibility of opting for a set of complementary professional opportunities.
