Cardiovascular Imaging
The objective of this sc is to develop and provide scientific and professional skills in Cardiovascular Imaging that is a cross-sectional area of Cardiovascular Medicine, being essential to the establishment of diagnosis, risk stratification and clinical decision, therapy, monitoring, prognosis.
The general objectives of this EC are to provide in-depth teaching in the area of ICV, to perspective its practice in the clinic, to provide the possibility of innovation through the elaboration of excellent research projects.
Obtaining specific training in noninvasive imaging modalities in CV Medicine, with regard to fundamentals and basic
physical applications, image formation, method of acquisition and computational analysis, clinical
information,indications,contraindications, limitations, risks and safety.
