Goals

The 120 ECTS MSc Course aims at training Geology professionals able to adjust their activity to the evolution of knowledge, technology and Society needs. The study plan includes consistent and flexible teaching-learning pathways, which couple in balanced manner: transversal nuclear components, complementing basic graduation formation that gives ability to exercise the profession in overarching and competitive job market contexts; specific advanced approaches that open distinct specialized options and project potential scientific and professional vocations; and analyses that value innovative perspectives and/or methodologies in different geological knowledge domains and/or inter-transdisciplinary interfaces, opening new Knowledge frontiers.

Companies and public institutions of the sector of exploitation, extraction and management of geological, hydrogeological and energy resources, geotechnics, assessment and minimization of impacts and risks and land planning | Higher education and research institutions | Central and local Administration institutions | Nature Conservation and Geological Heritage entities.
