Goals

The MSc in Geophysical Sciences aims to train professionals in the fields of meteorology, oceanography and geophysics, giving the ability to act on the monitoring systems of the Earth, on Climate, Ocean and Geological processes modelling, on natural hazards and geophysical phenomena extremes assessments, and on the quantification of renewable energy, water and hydrocarbons resources. The MSc includes courses about Earth Physics, Observation Systems and Mathematical Modelling of Atmosphere, Ocean and Globe.

Career prospects

National and international institutions and companies, connected to the exploration of natural resources | Institutes and State Laboratories | Geophysical prospecting companies, consulting on natural hazards, environmental impact and on territorial management.

BSc, Bolonha's 1st cycle equivalence (undergraduate course with 180 European unit credits), on Geophysical Sciences area, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or Earth Sciences.
