History of Art and Heritage
The generic objectives of this study programme are:
a) To graduate specialists in the field of Art History and Heritage Sciences;
b) To graduate professionals with an adequate profile for working in Artistic Heritage integrated management, while betting on an interdisciplinary curriculum within the aforementioned areas of expertise;
c) To encourage civic awareness, the capacity to intervene, and entrepreneurship.
d) To motivate students for lifelong learning.
The wide range of curricular units offered aims at a multidisciplinary theoretical and practical training that enables the student to carry out original research, allowing the advancement of science in the specialty and giving him the ability to respond to the ever-renewed challenges of the job market in these areas.
Access and ingress
Applicants for the MA study programme must hold: a) a BA or legally equivalent degree; b) a degree from a foreign university, awarded after the successful completion of the 1st cycle of studies under the Bologna Process by a signatory country; c) a degree from a foreign university that, according to the Scientific Council, meets the learning outcomes of a BA; d) a school, scientific or professional curriculum that the Scientific Council regards as expressive of the student’s capacity to successfully complete this cycle of studies.
