Psychomotor Rehabilitation
Evaluate the psychomotor, socio-emotional, behavioral and cognitive profile, and diagnose psychomotor problems in people with mental and developmental disorders
Design, implement and evaluate psychomotor intervention programs aimed at the general population and people with mental and developmental disorders
Supervise and ensure in-depth personal psychocorporal training for generalist psychomotricians
Know norms, criteria and instruments for evaluating the performance of psychomotor therapists
Design and implement research projects in psychomotricity
Develop systemic intervention proposals in different contexts that are likely to maximize the impact of direct intervention
Provide an innovative contribution in the design and implementation of new knowledge and new practices, as well as in the development of new professional and political perspectives
In Health (Hospital Consultations for Development, Psychiatry, Development Centers; Health Centers and various Mental Health services); Social Security (Institutions for people with disabilities; Residential Homes for the Elderly, Day Care Centers, Foster Care, Occupational Centers); Education (schools, study centres); Recreation and Leisure Contexts and Justice (educational centres, reintegration teams, prisons). The training of psychomotor therapists in the second cycle aims to train specialist professionals capable of acting in these different professional fields, developing professional supervision, scientific research, and innovation in methodologies for observation/assessment and psychomotor intervention.
Access and ingress
Holder of a degree in Management or similar areas, or legal equivalent, study cycles corresponding to a minimum of 180 ECTS;
