Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2023/2024
The Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2023/2024 will take place on the 12th of September, 2023, at the Aula Magna of Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa).
Celebrating the beginning of a new Academic Year, the Solemn Session is an important milestone in the academic life of ULisboa and brings together its entire Community.
PROGRAMME
The Session will be chaired by the President of the Portuguese Republic, Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
4:00 pm – Opening of the Session

5:30 pm – Closing of the Ceremony
Free entry limited to room capacity.
This session is part of the reception programme to the new students of the university "Welcome to ULisboa" that takes place on the same day, at Alameda da Universidade, with sports activities, welcome kits and a sunset party.
