Tordesilhas Group

The Tordesillas Group is an academic network of universities in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, which aims to promote collaboration between universities of the three countries in the field of science and technology. The Tordesillas Group was established in June 2000, during the First Meeting of Rectors of universities of Brazil, Spain and Portugal as a commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil. Currently includes 55 universities, of which 29 are Brazilian, 18 Spanish and 8 Portuguese.
