Maria Fernanda Oliveira
Has a degree and a MSC in Applied Mathematics in the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and a PhD in Probability and Statistics in the same school.
She is an assistant professor at the Department of Statistics and Operations Research at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He was responsible for several curricular units and supervised a significant number of undergraduate and graduate students at the Faculty of Sciences of ULisboa.
Her main areas of research are: exploratory data analysis and extreme value theory.
At FCUL, she held, since 1992, several management positions, in particular those of member of the Pedagogical Council, Assembly of Representatives, member of the Executive Committee of DEIO and, from October 2011 to July 2022, she was subdirector for academic affairs
