Clone of Unite!Widening promotes Workshop on Adaptation to Climate Change

As part of the Unite!Widening project, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology is hosting the "EU Mission Adaptation to climate change" workshop on 18 June, with the aim of presenting the possibilities of participating in the programmes and calls of the EU Mission for Adaptation to Climate Change. The event can be followed online.

Our multi-actor and multi-faceted knowledge sharing will pave the way for the formulation of strategic research priorities for the Widening countries, willing to expand their participation in research and development activities, with a special focus on the main research priorities for Poland and Portugal.

With this in mind, the "EU Mission Adaptation to climate change" workshop will take place on 18 June at 8.30am (Lisbon time) at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology na Polónia, o workshop "EU Mission Adaptation to climate change" in Poland, and will be conducted in English, in hybrid mode. You can follow the event online via streaming.

This will be a good opportunity to establish research co-operation with partners from various EU countries. The event's special guest will be Elina Bardram, Climate Change Adaptation Mission Manager and Director of DG CLIMA.

As part of the Unite!Widening project, two more conferences were organised, the first in March in Portugal, at ULisboa, on the theme Mission Ocean: Restore our Ocean and Waters and the second in May in Italy, at the Politecnico di Torino, on Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities European EU Mission
