Archaeology
It is intended to enable graduates to perform archaeological work framed in teams led by archaeologists higher education (master's and doctoral students), actively participate in field work, as well as all tasks of inventory and report. Provide training to enable them to achieve basic tasks of identification and characterization of archaeological data, sustained a generic knowledge of sites and artefacts and their integration in space and time.
The course aims to open pathways for archaeological research, as well as the integrated management of archaeological heritage, its inventory, whether in private or the Central and Local Administration, and museums. The training also enables graduates to integrate the market of the so called cultural industries.
Graduates in Archeology often dedicate themselves to archaeological work, involving all the routines of fieldwork and all the tasks of registration, inventory and production of reports. appreciation and cultural management of sites, integrated management of archaeological heritage and public archaeology.
Many archeology graduates continue their studies, for example attending a master's degree in Archeology or advancing to 3rd cycle courses.
