Cognitive Science
The Masters study cycle in Cogntive Science aims to provide general training in Cognitive Science from a multidisciplinary perspective through an advanced training course (1 year and 1 semester) followed by 1 year of scientific research do achieve an original dissertation at masters level (the first semester of the second year includes the final part of the advanced training course and the beginning of the dissertation). The multidisciplinary aspect is central to the study cyle, which is reflected in its internal organization and curricular structure.
Masters in Cognitive Science handle the operation of services and systems with a strong cognitive component. Examples, among many others, of their areas of action are the inovation, research and direction in: Technological companies, of consultancy and auditing; Companies with advanced systems of interaction with users; Companies and institutions in the area of health care and support to persons with special needs; Regulatory and certification Entities; Institutions in the hospital sector; Laboratories of research and development; Higher education and research institutions, etc.
Access and ingress
Applicants must meet the following entry requirements: a) Holders of a degree or a legal equivalent; b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, conferred following a 1st cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this Process; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as fulfilling the objectives of the degree of licenciado by the Scientific Committee of the Master.
