Workshop "EU Mission Adaptation to climate change"
The Unite! WIDENING project organises this workshop which will take place at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology , Poland, on June 18th. The event aims to present the possibilities of participating in the EU Mission Adaptation to Climate Change programs and calls.
Our multi-actor and multifaceted knowledge exchange will pave the road to formulate strategic research priorities for the Widening countries, willing to expand their participation in research and development activities, with particular focus on top research priorities for Poland and Portugal.
The meeting will take place on June 18th (planned meeting time 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. CET) at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and will be conducted in English, in a hybrid mode.
It will also be an opportunity to establish research cooperation with partners from several EU countries. The special guest of the event will be Elina Bardram, a Manager of Mission Adaptation to climate change and Director in DG CLIMA.
As part of the Unite!Widening project, two more conferences were organized, the first in March in Portugal at ULisboa on the Mission Ocean: Restore our Ocean and Waters and the second in May in Italy at tthe Politecnico di Torino on the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities European EU Mission.
