Huaquiao University Visit to ULisboa

On October 30th, 2017, a delegation from the University of Huaquiao (China), visited Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa).

ULisboa’s Vice-Rector, Professor João Barreiros, welcomed the Chinese delegation and briefly presented the University, joined by Professor Maria José Calhorda, on belhalf of ULisboa’s Faculty of Sciences, as there is an ongoing partnership between the two institutions.

The Chinese delegation’s visit aimed mainly at getting to know ULisboa and discussing further cooperation actions.

As such, the visit was a way of reinforcing ULisboa’s internationalization strategy of further intensifying its ties with Chinese institutions.
