Lisbon Living+ | Conference

Lisbon Living+ is a collaborative platform involving 35 entities from the Lisbon Region aiming to bring together the best available scientific knowledge to jointly develop innovative social and economic activities, based on knowledge transfer and valorization, as a significant contribution to the promotion of healthy living and active ageing.

February 20^th, Lisbon Living + will organise its 1^st Annual Conference, at Universidade de Lisboa (Salão Nobre – Reitoria).

This Conference will feature international keynote speakers, including the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation Carlos Moedas (“Europe: an ageing continent towards a knowledge-based economy”), Hans Hofstraat, VP of Phillips ("Digital Europe: a reality in Health Care towards a citizen-centric system”), Pedro Pita Barros, Chair of EXPH, DG SANCO (“Innovation in Health: increased costs and increased impact”) and Bert Leufkens, President of Medicines Evaluation Board of Netherlands and Professor of the Universities of Utrecht and Lisbon (“Frontiers in clinical research: Europe answering a global call”).

Parallel sessions will include the topics of Personalised Medicine, Society and Public Health, Big Data and ICTs in Health Care and Knowledge Transfer and Business Creation in Europe.
